Proprietary probiotic blend
BFF is veterinarian formulated blend of 13 probiotic strains with a whopping 50 billion CFU daily for large dogs. Each probiotic strain is carefully chosen for its ability to survive the stomach acid and support the canine gut. Plus, we've added Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast that's well known for its ability to support the guts of dogs on antibiotics.
FOS (fructooligosaccharides)
Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are short-chain fructose molecules that function as prebiotics, supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, such as Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli, which are crucial for maintaining a healthy digestive system. FOS can enhance mineral absorption, particularly calcium and magnesium, and aid in the regulation of blood sugar levels.
Organic inulin from organic Jerusalem artichoke
Inulin is a type of soluble fiber that acts as a prebiotic that to help grow beneficial gut bacteria, thereby supporting overall digestive health. FOS can also enhance nutrient absorption, and may contribute to better glycemic control by balancing blood sugar levels.
